Garphyttan was founded in 2020 by Johan Skullman and an experienced team within outdoor retail. Garphyttan is founded on the idea of the Swedish countryside where the boundary between work and leisure blurs and merges.

We believe that the clothes you wear should be able to meet the challenges and needs that arise in all aspects of your life. Our goal is to create a clothing collection that blurs the boundaries between these different areas and inspires you to push your own limits, whether it's in nature or in everyday life.
This vision is realized through our collection, which is divided into three product series – Original, Crafter och Specialist - each with their respective distinctive features that enable a wide range of applications

The Crafter series is designed for outdoor work, featuring durable construction and thoughtful design to carry tools and equipment. The series is developed with professionals in mind, serving those in construction, carpentry, gardening, forestry, repairs, and maintenance. The materials are comfortable with stretch properties and practical features that make the task easier.
Specialist
Specialist
The Specialist series is designed for use in activities with higher levels of intensity, featuring features for moisture and heat regulation. Garphyttan combines modern materials to create technical products that are both durable and lightweight. Products from the Specialist series meet high standards and are adapted for a range of applications, such as hiking and cross-country skiing.

Garphyttan – A Classic Industrial Community
Garphyttan is a classic industrial community in the Örebro municipality. Nearby, you'll also find Garphyttan National Park, one of Sweden's oldest national parks, established in 1909 when the Swedish Parliament allocated land for nine national parks, the first in Europe.
Our name, Garphyttan, symbolizes the old industrial community with life on farms and work in the forest and fields. In the old industrial community, the boundaries between work and leisure, human and nature, indoors and outdoors, were not as clear as they are today. This serves as the foundation for what we stand for at Garphyttan. That's why we are named as we are.
Our name is simply a tribute to the countryside and to all the historic industrial communities where Swedish industrialization and our export successes began."
